BDC Interiors & Design Company began in order to bring a fresh, new convenient approach of Refined Rustic interior design through furnishings, art, & accessories procurement to property and vacation home owners, developers, & real estate industry professionals from a passion and love of small business as well as interior design. By teaming up with you we believe we can help you create a space you want in order to achieve your goals and mission. We bring together unique professional designs and the highest quality furniture, art, & accessories brands to create spaces that are stylish and functional, all through a hassle-free, easy process for you.
As founder of BDC Interiors & Design Company, after working more than 25 years with small businesses on many levels, I decided it was the best time to develop an online (virtual) business to focus on serving other small business as it is a way to serve them efficiently and conveniently so they can go about their business and also create the best interior environment for their guests which will in turn improve their income and lives.
I am an accredited design professional, and am an active Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers) and I have experience in both residential and commercial interior design with furnishings curation as well as working with small businesses on multiple levels.
My design passion began at an early age ~ ( I was able to design my own room and pick furnishings and art) and my love for design and to see how it can shape a space and in turn shape someone’s life inspires me to share it with others. I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas in 1999 with a bachelor’s of Interior Design (as well as elementary education degree in 1991) and have worked with small businesses since then including furniture curation and design as well as other aspects of small business. I see the value of the small business owner as the backbone of our communities and I believe the best business relationships are formed over time to truly become a great team, and lives can be changed for the better because of it!
I reside in Central Arkansas, along with my daughter and son ( and several animals- 2 Boston Terriers, a sun conure, and 2 guinea pigs) and knows what it is like to be a small business owner myself (for the past 26 years) so I “get you!” Update: We lost our Bostons and one guinea pig. Now we have a Siberian Husky and a rescue mix.
Life doesn’t always go as you have planned- sometimes it throws a curve-ball you were not expecting, but it’s all in how you make the best of it that matters. That’s where your faith comes in. That is what keeps you going- in business, or in life. It also helps to have a support group around you. I would love to be part of your support group. Together we are stronger.
Just to be transparent here, my resilience and my problem-solving abilities and experience have molded me into the ideal design professional to specialize and team up with short-term rental owners and hosts as you are business-owners as well, and have experienced some of the same challenges and obstacles and I want to align with you to design & plan with your business to ultimately improve your lives.

*as a side note…the small icons (olive leaf, cross) in our logo represent the integration of my faith within my work. I believe you cannot separate the two, nor should you want to.
