DO I HAVE TO BE AN INVESTOR, DEVELOPER, PROPERTY OWNER, OR IN THE REAL ESTATE INDUSTRY TO BUY FROM A COLLECTION OR DESIGN PACKAGE?
No, you do not have to be one. We specialize in working with these types of clients, but once you complete a questionnaire or complete a discovery call, we will know more if we are a good fit to work together if you are interested in a design package.
ANYONE may purchase from my collections.
WHAT IS THE DESIGN BAR?
Our Design Bar is a fun name for our Pre-Curated Turnkey Furnishings Collections of trade-only products (furniture, accessories, art) that you may purchase from (one or more). It might be displayed as a mood board, a 3D Room Rendering , etc.
WHAT ARE YOUR CUSTOM COLLECTIONS?
Our custom collections come with a Design Service you purchase. After we have a discovery call I will send you a scope of work agreement and then I get to work on your package. This is a professionally designed/curated collection by an experienced interior designer- “just for you” after collaborating with you about your space. You still purchase from it yourself, but the designer has researched the perfect selections for you based on the information you provide. This takes time, (usually max 2 weeks depending on size of project) but is an investment well worth it.
WHAT ARE “TRADE-ONLY” FURNISHINGS?
Trade-only furnishings, or to-the-trade, are pieces that are purchased by a design professional, and are only accessible to them and other retailers and showrooms. We have access to MANY of the top manufacturers in the country and we can sell these on our website and social media, etc.
WHAT/WHO IS SIDE DOOR?
Side Door is our partner, a secure, online platform tool that handles all the logistics, fulfillment-ordering, processing, shipping, and customer service of the products to you.
DO THEY ACCEPT RETURNS?
There are no returns accepted (or exchanges) at this time, (except damaged) since products are shipped directly from the manufacturer, therefore all sales are final through this platform.
WHAT IF I GET A DAMAGED ITEM?
Please inspect any item immediately when you receive it, and if there are any damaged items, please contact Side Door customer service and they will provide assistance.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM ORDERS OR OTHER SIZES, FINISHES, OR COLORS?
At this point, there are no custom orders (materials), but hopefully in the future. Yes, often there are other sizes, finishes, and colors available but will depend on the product. Just contact us by email, text, etc. and we can find out for you.
ARE ITEMS SOLD AT RETAIL PRICES?
The manufacturers we partner with set the prices for internet purchasing…called IMAP (Internet Minimum Advertised Price) and should not be any lower anywhere else. We do not mark up the price any more than that, so you can be assured you are getting the best price available.
Our scope of work with you will determine pricing in some cases.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDERS?
Usually the lead time is around 2-4 weeks, but this is an estimate, and there are times there could be a delay, especially in these days with Covid-19. Some products are 4-6 months out.
WILL I RECEIVE UPDATES ABOUT MY ORDERS?
YES. You will receive email updates concerning processing, shipping, and delivery of your orders from Side Door.
IS SHIPPING INCLUDED?
Yes, shipping/handling is already calculated in your purchase price shown if you purchase yourself. There is no increase in shipping if you purchase multiple items.
